The original layout, designed by Ken Elkin, who designed many of the Capes better known courses, has seen several improvements of late. The introduction of indigenous plants and the removal of alien trees have not only beautified the environment, but have created panoramic vistas of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. Playing here early "before the field" must rate as the most peaceful golfing experience possible, which residents will have on their doorsteps.
