This upmarket development includes approximately 1 300 freehold residential stands, ranging in size from 500m2 to 1 200m2, and features an 18-hole championship Gary Player signature golf course. The architectural theme is predominantly Tuscan. A full driving range and chipping area is available to all golfers as well as the Golf Academy run by renowned teaching professional, Muss Gammon.
The landscaping theme is indigenous, with extensive use of highveld tree species. The golf course has been designed to fully utilise the natural features of the area, while simultaneously providing the golfer with a memorable and challenging golfing experience. Bunkers represent a more traditional design, having steep grass faces. Putting greens are planted with L93 bent grass and feature soft undulations, which offer an interesting challenge to golfers.
On Course
Holes 1 and 10: These testing par fours are the signature holes of the course and share a single green measuring 2 000m2, reportedly the largest in South Africa. Separating the fairways is a cascading water feature, which flows into a large pond guarding the front of both greens.
Hole 11: The most difficult hole on the course, this demanding par four presents the choice of hitting to a fairway to the left or right of the stream. However this hole invariably plays into the prevailing north wind.
